Francine Z. Carlin, MA Principal, The Business Harmonizer Group  With over 25 years of business experience - including senior executive and hands-on management positions in a variety of industries, both public and private, union and non-union - Francine knows first-hand how interpersonal dynamics and emotional issues can affect business decision-making and long- term organizational well-being. Francine's keen business insight makes it possible for her to make sound assessments, focus on critical needs and keep on task. She is able to confront difficult issues and does so with grace and candor.Over the course of her career, Francine has built strong competencies in conflict resolution, organizational communications, leadership development, change management, and strategic business planning. She continually draws on all of her experiences to facilitate her proven Business Harmonizer™ process of Reconciliation, Renewal, and Relationship. As a consultant, facilitator and coach, Francine works in partnership with leaders and teams to help them recognize and break through the silent barriers to realizing individual and organizational goals. Of particular note is her work with business-owning families and entrepreneurs. Francine Carlin is effective at linking emotional issues with the real world of business to help address inter-generational issues and succession planning, resolve conflicts, promote meaningful communication, build a family legacy and develop best practices for the family enterprise. Francine is a certified Family Business Education Facilitator, having completed the Family Council Facilitation Course, the RoadMap Course for Entrepreneurial Families, and the Business Families Foundation Course for Professionals. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise, the Family Firm Institute, and the Succession Network. In her consultancy she also specializes in working as an organizational coach to help leaders address issues related to corporate culture, internal communications, leadership and team development. Francine has successfully facilitated cultural transformation programs for mid-size businesses and Public Libraries by addressing ways to lead by example, manage and sustain change, resolve conflict, and become customer focused. Francine has a Masters Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is Associate Faculty, Royal Roads University, Centre for Applied Leadership and Management, Victoria, BC. Additionally, she served three terms as a Governor on the Royal Roads University Board of Governors.
